I spent this past week in Lubbock, Texas to enjoy time with my mom. Being both of our spring breaks, we got to do exactly what we wanted to do all week - sleeping in, lounging, eating fattening foods, and shopping. A group of my mom's dearest friends and colleagues were so kind and threw me a baby shower. I was so excited because my best friend from college, Melanie, flew in from Houston with her mom just to come to Peanut's event. It was a good time by all and my baby and I benefitted tremendously from the immense generosity of family members and friends.
